I would like to thank the DataSci events team for a very impressive and well organised and fun event. Winning a DatSci Award and being a finalist has been very helpful to us in RX AI. We received over 3,000 hits after winning. It opened customer doors and business opportunities and increased interest in our, RX AI analytics visualisation recommendation platform and solutions. The DatSci Awards also helped increase interest and credibility in attracting new people to our RX AI team. We would encourage and recommend other individuals, teams and companies to enter the 2018 Awards, and to get involved in a great event and community.
The DatSci Awards for EdgeTier were a great chance to get recognition for the AI and data science work we’ve been doing over the last year, to showcase the impact that our new products are having with clients, and to expand our reach amongst potential investors and clients. We’ve already been contacted by a number of companies and contacts that heard of our success at the awards and were interested to know more about our customer service products!
I was over the moon the day I won the award! It was a great recognition of all my contributions within Zalando and also in the data science community in general. In fact, it was an award to all the work that had brought me to where I was in my career. I really enjoyed the format and the venue of the event, and it was a good chance to meet other people working in the data science community.
Winning the ‘Best Use of Data Science for an SME’ has been a great success story for HerdInsights. Since winning the award, our team has expanded, sales have increased and we have expanded into new territories. The overall experience of the DatSci’s was very straightforward. The presentation guidelines were easy to follow and gave us the opportunity to demonstrate our data science approach and how those algorithms benefit the customer.
